ST. PAUL, Minn. Rondo Days 2026 was one of the biggest community events of the summer, and KMHP Digital Radio was proud to be there broadcasting live, interviewing guests, and connecting with listeners throughout the day.
From the moment our booth opened, the energy never stopped. Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to interview more than 15 artists, community leaders, business owners, and event attendees, giving them a platform to share their stories with our listeners.
The response from the community was incredible. Hundreds of people stopped by our booth to learn more about KMHP Digital Radio, download our mobile app, and connect with our team. Several attendees even told us they came looking for us after seeing our promotional campaign leading up to the event, proving that local advertising and community engagement truly make a difference.
Like any live broadcast, there was one unexpected technical hiccup, but our team quickly resolved it and continued the show without missing a beat. It’s a reminder that preparation matters—but staying calm under pressure matters even more.
Home of Hip Hop & R&B
One of the biggest highlights of the day wasn’t just the interviews or the broadcast. It was meeting so many new listeners, shaking hands with members of the community, and seeing firsthand how much people appreciate having a platform dedicated to Hip Hop, R&B, independent artists, and positive community conversations.
Rondo Days also reinforced something we’ve believed from the beginning: KMHP Digital Radio is at its best when we’re out in the community, not just behind microphones. These face-to-face connections are helping us build something bigger than a radio station—they’re helping us build a community.
