The Event You Didn’t Want to Miss
The Hip Hop Fraternity MN Edition proved why it’s quickly becoming the go-to spot for Minnesota’s music scene. With free entry, free food, and unlimited networking opportunities, the event brought together artists, producers, entrepreneurs, and industry OGs all under one roof.
Founded by Rico “The Plug” Williams (Facebook), alongside President Emmett Hutchinson (Facebook) and Vice President Chikken Little (Facebook), the MN chapter of the Hip Hop Fraternity is pushing to create real opportunities for talent and business in the culture.

Who Pulled Up
The room was packed with a wide mix of movers, shakers, and legends of the Minnesota hip hop scene:
- Lettrish Betrish (Facebook) – Hip Hop Artist who tore down the stage with a lit performance.
- Charlnitta Ellis (Facebook) – Director of Check Yo Self Health & Awareness at High School for Recording Arts.
- Lo Down (Facebook) – true MN hip hop legend holding it down.
- Imperial Boy Fraizer (Facebook) – representing Imperial Clothing Design Company LLC.
- Kaotic 1 – CEO of KMHP Digital Radio and host of The Weekend Cook Up (kmhpradio.com).
- HC the Chemist (Facebook) – another MN legend still grinding.

And the list goes on. The energy was strong, the networking was real, and the culture was celebrated at the highest level.
